What they do

RCCL conducts research into autonomous robotic systems, multi-agent coordination, control algorithms, and the design of cyber-physical systems that integrate computational intelligence with physical processes. The Lab's work spans from theoretical foundations — including formal modelling and verification of autonomous behaviour — to applied prototype development for industrial, environmental, and urban applications.

The Lab has expertise in IoT-integrated control systems, drone autonomy, and sensor-actuator networks — making their research directly applicable to smart city infrastructure, intelligent transportation, and automated environmental monitoring. RCCL provides ecosystem partners with access to academic research talent, experimental testbeds, and the broader scientific community through the University of Athens.
